The world-renowned cellist and part-time Berkshire resident hosted the Day of Action on the Common in Pittsfield as part of his ongoing Bach Project tour.  Pittsfield was approximately half way through Ma’s world-wide journey.  The event gathered local leaders and organizations to build 36 wooden tables and 12 murals while discussing the concept of a resilient community.  The tables and murals are all inscribed with messages from the public finishing the prompt, “The Berkshires Make…”   Blue Q led the mural making and they were then distributed to Blue Q; Lee Bank in Pittsifeld; General Dynamics and Milltown Capital.
