Catherine Cohen is a comedian and voiceover artist living in Brooklyn. She was named by Time Out New York as one of “Five Comedians to Watch For” in 2018. Catherine hosts a weekly show at Alan Cumming’s new East Village cabaret, as well as the monthly variety show, It’s A Guy Thing, which was listed as one of Paste Magazine’s “10 Best Alt Comedy Shows in New York City.” Catherine appeared in the last season of Difficult People on Hulu, and starred in an episode of Comedy Central’s digital series, Someone’s in Here. The third in a series of OLLI courses focusing on our complex healthcare systems and institutions, this course will once again endeavor to highlight and take an in-depth view of selected healthcare subjects in the news and confounding all of us as we work to navigate the maze of our health “system.”

Fascinated by LEGO bricks and technology? Over the period of four weeks, learn how to build and code a LEGO Mindstorms robot to execute every command. Utilize reading and math skills to design and implement the programs.
This series of four 1-hour sessions is designed specifically for homeschool families. A space to eat lunch will be made available so families can eat and mingle after each program. Recommended for, but not limited to, children ages 8 to 12.
Meet the Shakers who lived at the village. Explore the village and find out more about the people who made this community their home. Look for objects made at Hancock, examine journals, study maps, and even venture into the cellar of the Trustees’ Office to see grave markers.
