Alchemy Initiative announces its first workshop of 2013: Love Thyself, a beginner herbal body care class. Working with Atalanta Sunguroff of Wake Robin Botanicals, Alchemy Initiative presents a hands-on workshop exploring the world of self herbal care, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 9, from 10am to 1pm at TREEHOUSE Children’s Boutique at 305 North St., in Pittsfield, Mass.
In this three hour long workshop, Wake Robin Botanicals will teach attendees how to make body care products for their beauty and relaxation. Attendees will learn to make body salt scrub, bath tea, herbal spritzer, massage oil, and foot scrub. Gift certificates to the Love Thyself workshop are available and products specially made at the workshop by attendees make for great gifts, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Workshop attendees will bring home $80 worth of handmade products, the written recipes so they can replicate them, the herbal information on the plants and products being used and some fun extra health tips. No experience is required, but pre-register is. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
