Explore Leonardo’s imaginative inventions at a reduced ticket price during extended evening hours every Saturday night. Use cranks, levers, and pulleys to test da Vinci’s mechanisms after family dinner, bring your date to see a wooden battle tank, or spend some time marveling at flying machines before catching a Little Cinema screening.

Meet the residents of the Berkshire Museum Aquarium’s tide pool tank in this guided, hands-on educational program for all ages. This drop-in experience will be led by a member of the Museum’s staff who can answer your questions and help you interact with the exciting sea creatures in the tank.

Get to know the farmyard. Each week, young children ages 2-5 and their caregivers meet one of our farm animals, enjoy a special story, and do a simple craft in the Discovery Barn.

Mary Cella is a stand-up comedian and writer based in New York City. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Comedy Central, Jezebel, McSweeney’s, The Hairpin, CNN and HLN, and she is the co-founder and co-editor of Little Old Lady Comedy. She hosts a comedy show on the first Thursday of every month at Tip Top Bar & Grill and every Tuesday at Baby Grand in Brooklyn. Originally from Berkshire County, MA, where she grew up ski racing on a little hill where it was socially acceptable to ski in jeans (but she never did). Cella graduated from Tufts University and worked as a producer for CNN and HLN for several years before pursuing comedy.

Learn more about Leonardo and his innovative designs from our knowledgeable exhibition docents and enjoy hands-on demonstrations of many of his machines, including mechanisms that are usually do not touch!

Little ones can explore the Aquarium and three Museum galleries! Each week features songs, stories, scavenger hunts, play time, and more. Check our weekly e-news for each week’s theme. This program is geared towards children 18 months to 3 years. Older and younger siblings are always welcome!

Come to a dinner of culinary revelry as we team up with Enlightenment (Brooklyn’s first meadery) to present an extraordinary menu of organic vegetables and meats from our farm (the oldest working farm in The Berkshires with a variety of mead.
Cocktails include a cool herbal mixology lesson. Come prepared to shake, stir, and get enlightenment.
